12. Push Notifications

Push notifications are available in the ServiceBack PWA on computers and mobile devices. They are sent to the requester and to engineers who have responded to the request.

Install the PWA using an up-to-date version of Google Chrome or Safari, then enable notifications separately on each device:

  1. Open the ServiceBack PWA.
  2. Select the bell icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Enable notifications in the Push notifications menu.
  4. Allow them in the browser or operating-system prompt.

The menu then displays Notifications enabled. Notifications can be disabled from the same menu. If they were previously blocked, allow them first in the browser or operating-system settings, then enable them again in ServiceBack.
