6.4. Automatic Service Request Creation

Once an hour, the platform automatically checks every active PPM schedule to determine whether the next prescribed maintenance task is due. When the scheduled date and time arrive, the system creates a service request automatically, without involvement from a dispatcher or maintenance engineer.
If one schedule is assigned to several assets, the platform creates a separate service request for each machine. This allows different engineers to be assigned, labor to be tracked separately, completion to be monitored independently, and an accurate repair and PPM history to be maintained.
Automatically created requests appear in the common list and on the Kanban board alongside standard requests. They carry a “PPM” label and an automatic-creation icon.
