4.9. Components

The “Components” tab displays and manages constituent parts of the equipment that have their own records in the system. Components may include hydraulic power units, compressors, cooling systems, control cabinets, and other self-contained assemblies.

To link existing equipment, click “Add components” and select a record from the full list. This does not create any new records.

Users can open the record for any component and view its current condition. Each component remains a fully independent equipment unit with its own repair history, documentation, PPM schedules, sensors, and statistics.

This structure represents complex machinery made up of serviceable or replaceable modules while preserving independent records for every assembly.
